Tsunami Martial Arts Center: Medals at the BJJ Tournament at the RMK Academy of Martial Arts

Athletes from the Tsunami Martial Arts Center competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the RMK Academy of Martial Arts. On March 7, 2026, Gi division competitions were held among adult athletes. Two of our athletes reached the podium, giving serious competition to very experienced competitors in the 35+ category. This once again demonstrates the high level of preparation of our athletes, who are only 14–16 years old. We are confident they have a bright future ahead on major stages. March 7 results (adults, Gi): • Pavel Vyalkikh — 2nd place (silver) • Artyom Zakharov — 3rd place (bronze) On March 8, 2026, the second day of the tournament took place for juniors, boys, and children. Tsunami athletes shone on the mats once again. March 8 results: • Artyom Zakharov — 1st place (gold) • Pavel Zakharov — 3rd place (bronze) Everyone gained invaluable experience that will motivate them to keep training.
