SUMA International Aikido Seminar in Pervouralsk

On October 25–26, 2025, an international Aikido seminar organized by SUMA International (ISUMA), the Union of Martial Arts Schools, was held in Pervouralsk. The host venue was the club «Universal Fighters» (Pervouralsk, official SUMA representative). Sessions were led by Vitaly Yuryevich Goleshev — 5th dan Aikido, student and follower of the tradition of Morihei Ueshiba, head of the «Mumokan» clubs (Belarus), and member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of SUMA. Participants included representatives of different martial arts and Aikido schools. Athletes came from Pervouralsk, Polevskoy, and Yekaterinburg in the Sverdlovsk region. The program offered a rich, technique-intensive curriculum. Master Vitaly Goleshev once again demonstrated a progressive approach to the development of Aikido. SUMA International extends sincere thanks to Vitaly Goleshev for conducting the seminar and for his active cooperation in developing martial arts, and to all colleagues who helped organize and run the event. It is a pity that not all SUMA federation representatives could attend — there are many of them in the Ural region. Overall, the seminar was excellent, held in a friendly atmosphere, with many techniques analyzed in fine detail.
