Nikolai Sofronov Awarded 6th Dan Aiki-Bu-Jutsu

On January 5, 2025, Nikolai Viktorovich Sofronov — designated future successor to Pavel Gavrilovich Bessonov, founder of SUMA International (ISUMA), the Union of Martial Arts Schools — was awarded 6th dan (6-th Dan) in Aiki-Bu-Jutsu with the right to wear the white-and-red belt. This is a landmark event for the entire SUMA community: recognition of the master's many years of work, his contribution to the development of martial arts, and continuity of the traditions established by sensei Bessonov. Nikolai Viktorovich Sofronov is coach of SK «Tandem» (Polevskoy, official SUMA representative) and a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of SUMA International.
