Polevskoy City KUBO Championship: Opening the Training and Competition Season

On September 7, 2025, the Polevskoy City KUBO (Classical Universal Wrestling) Championship was held. Forty athletes took part. The tournament marked the opening of the new academic, training, and competition year. Competition was held in three divisions: 1. KUBO biathlon; 2. KUBO wrestling; 3. Aiki-KUBO «pushing out». The event was held in a spirit of sportsmanship and mutual respect. Participants showed solid preparation and competitive drive. Polevskoy is home to SK «Tandem», an official SUMA International (ISUMA) representative. Season openers like this strengthen the KUBO community in the region and set the tone for the year ahead.
