ISUMA Martial Arts Festival in Memory of Sensei Pavel Bessonov: Competition in Verkhnyaya Sysert

On April 6, 2025, ISUMA martial arts festival (FBI) competitions were held in Verkhnyaya Sysert at the Granatovaya Bukhta venue, in memory of sensei Pavel Gavrilovich Bessonov — founder of the Union of Martial Arts Schools and creator of the KUBO system. About 60 athletes from Polevskoy, Pervouralsk, Aramil, Sysert, and Nizhny Tagil in the Sverdlovsk region took part. Competition was held in: 1. KUBO biathlon; 2. KUBO wrestling; 3. karate-jutsu — irigumi; 4. karate-jutsu — ju-ho; 5. Aiki-KUBO. Outstanding athletes received trophy cups. Congratulations to the winners and medalists! We thank all participants, coaches, and organizers for honoring the sensei's legacy and developing martial arts in the region.
